We're Your Chorus!
Towns of Harmony chorus is the only chapter of Sweet Adelines International located in the Three Rivers and Greater Fort Wayne Area. Chartered in 1961, we began uniting women from Fort Wayne and its many surrounding towns in our love of music and harmony. Still today, although Fort Wayne is our chorus home, our members are sprinkled across Fort Wayne and its surrounding communities. City or country, we are all united in our love of music, friendship, and those awesome dissonant notes and ringing chords of barbershop harmony. Towns of Harmony travels out to many of these communities for our performances as well.
Sharing the Magic of Music
Soon to be approaching our chorus' 50th birthday, we've been entertaining audiences across the Tri-State Area for 48 years. Although we love competing with our region's other choruses, and we enjoy putting on stage shows (but maybe not the stage makeup and false eyelashes!), our real excitement has always been our sing-outs. Towns of Harmony is available for hire (as a chorus or a quartet) to sing at your event, small or large. We also offer Singing Valentines every year as a unique gift for your special someone.
In these smaller settings we can connect with our audiences a little more, sharing the joy of music and laughter. We offer a variety of musical styles in four-part, a cappella, barbershop harmony (and tell jokes, too!). A gospel program is also available for churches and religious functions. Contact us for your event, and we'll hopefully make your day a little lighter and your smiles a little brigher with the magic that only music can do.

Like to Sing?
We'd love to have you join us for a rehearsal! We meet every Monday from 6:30 - 9:30 at Harmony Hall, located at 5120 Speedway Drive, just north of Glenbrook Mall. Sweet Adelines is an organization of amateur singers, dedicated to sharing the fun of barbershop singing. You don't have to read music (but it's great if you do). You'll have the opportunity to listen to us sing, and we hope you'll join us on the risers, too. Our director will suggest the best part for your vocal range, provide music, and you'll be paired up with someone to "learn by ear" the way barbershop has been traditionally taught since its beginning as an American art form. We promise an evening of humor and harmony as you join with other women united by our love of music and friendship.
Mmmm... Port-a-Pit!!!
Like all choruses, we have to keep our treasurer happy so we can keep up with our awesome hobby. Our annual Nelson's Port-a-Pit chicken sales help support us and are usually held each Spring. Stop by to support your chorus and your taste buds at the same time! We'll be selling chicken halves and "pit-tatoes" until we run out. And if you're lucky, you might even get to hear an impromptu quartet as we entertain between customers!
